*Nathan Bottomley* first encountered Doctor Who in 1978, when he started reading The Doctor Who Monster Book under his desk during Mr Ellis’s mathematics lessons. A couple of weeks later, he saw his first episode, a repeat of Death to the Daleks Part 1.
Nothing much happened to him after that until he was invited to join the Doctor Who podcast Flight Through Entirety some time in 2014, and since then he has podcasted his way through every episode of Doctor Who from 1963 to 2010 and beyond.
Today, his favourite story is Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways, his favourite Cyberman is Krail from the novelisation of The Tenth Planet, his favourite moon is the fifth moon of Sinda Callista and his favourite Christmas Special is that Rankin/Bass one where the Abominable Snowman gets all his teeth pulled out with pliers. He lives in Sydney with his husband and a series of increasingly unhinged small dogs.
