David Maskell

David was born in 199something. His first experience of Doctor Who was watching the classic 1979 adventure ‘Destiny of the Daleks’ on VHS (remember those?) when he was just 3 years old. He became instantly hooked and subsequently collected and watched the VHS (he did however think the Daleks featured in every story so for a time would only ever watch Dalek stories).

He started attending signings and conventions aged 5 and has never really stopped. He’s famed (ish) on the convention circuit for his interesting Paradise Towers impressions, and his unique impressions of Chloe Ashcroft’s and Jenny Tomasin’s death from both Resurrection and Revelation of the Daleks.

He is also known as the biggest Mrs Remington from Silver Nemesis fan and even has it as his Twitter name (@MrsRemingtonFan).

David is currently developing his one man show ‘Paradise Towers and Me’ in which he re-enacts the 1987 adventure on stage. This is currently in early works in an co-operation with Shangri-La productions.

I hope you enjoy the commentaries me and the wonderful Joe has done. He’s fantastic you know (Joe that is!)
